Blackmail? You can bet your ass on this. When one considers his past history of constitutional rulings his vote was totally bizarre.
Personally I would like to see him gone and replaced by a new nominee in the mold of The Great Anthony Scalia. Scalia loved and respected our great Constitution as written. He was its great defender as are Clarence Thomas and Alito.

If my recollection is right, didn't Justice Scalia's dissent in the Obamacare case read like a majority opinion? Whatever caused Roberts to change his mind happened at the last moment where there was no time for the others to rewrite theirs.
