Political fiction book beta-readers needed
10/15/2018 | Self

I'm not sure where else to put this. I'm the kind of person who writes numerous letters to the editor of my local paper. I just love to beat down liberal lunacy with facts and hard data. Eventually, however, it feels like an impossible task because Leftists just never get it.

I decided to take the fight wider and write a modest-sized book that uses a fictional story to convey my conservative philosophy as it pertains to the President of the United States.

The story is about a woman who goes undercover as a transgender man during a much-hyped Leftist national protest day. Her mission? Build up a media following as she pretends to be a part of the main protest, but at the end she does something unexpected on national television that turns the whole protest on its ear.

Basically, it is a taking the ring to Mordor story set in modern-day America, except that instead of destroying Sauron, she is going after an even bigger evil: The Democratic party.

I'd love to get a few readers who would be willing to read the book and give me feedback on it. You can grab the book for free at this link. All I ask is if you read it, please be courteous and give me your feedback.

You are mistakenly assuming leftists care about facts. They want to believe lies.

Bkmk - assuming I get a paper done for a master’s class in the next couple of days, I’ll take a run at this.

Yes, I can do the editing.

It will probably take two nights to read the novel though. How do you want the comments/revisions/edits passed back to you?

You can use the private reply function if you’d like. That would probably be easiest.

Thank you!

If anyone wants to see it live on Amazon, you can cut and paste this link.

www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JMKB8R6/

I know there were several people who downloaded the beta copy but I only heard from one person to give me feedback. If you feel like it, leaving a review on Amazon would really help. Just don’t give away the surprise ending!!! <— the liberals will do that. :)

That said, a couple people didn’t like the discussions of sexual orientation and the like, so they didn’t want to read any further. For those who maybe didn’t get through it, I’m going to give some spoilers to explain how I set up the story.

SPOILERS

This book is written to sound like a leftist is participating in a nationwide day of protest. She dresses like a man and calls herself transgender so she can get deep inside the heart of the protest with the help of a complicit media. The first half of the book is centered around this ruse. Getting the reporter to bring in the national media, helicopters, etc. because she is going to make a big announcement at this nationwide protest. The reporter thinks it is going to incriminate President Trump, but it does just the reverse.

Here is the heart of her message: Trump Lied! He said we’d get tired of winning.

By the end, the heroine reveals who she really is, she mocks the reporter for falling for her shenanigans, remarks how all the grievance-mongering is ruining America, and that she, like Trump, is for all Americans. Not some sliver of LBG-whatever or various colors.

It ends with two interviews. One done on a network TV show and the other on a radio program similar to Rush Limbaugh. There you really see how this woman is treated by two versions of our press.

The whole thing is written to hopefully entice moderate Democrats to abandon their party and it even links to the Walk Away movement at the end. I had fun writing it, so it doesn’t have to sell like gangbusters, but it would be nice to help one person escape the clutches of Big D.

Added after I sent out the beta copies:
New cover (with image that looks like a MAGA hat)
I changed the name of the reporter to William/Bob Miefenstahl, so his initial are BM. Then I relentlessly mock his name in the final chapter. Leni Riefenstahl was the Nazi propagandist, so I thought it was appropriate to make his name close to hers, given his love for faking the news.

Thanks for letting me ramble.
