The majority of Hawaii voters are dumb as a bag of rocks. These local Democrat voters attend Hawaii Democrat party rallies and are fed very well in the local style, that buys their votes. It’s this way every election season. The Dem voters are complete saps for this kind of schmoozing. Add to that, Hawaii has the most useless feckless Republican party state committee in the nation. Completely clueless and ineffective, they attract very few suitable candidates for opposition. Those the do stand for election as republicans are not supported in not funded by the Hawaii Republican party. The situation out here is also ignored by the RNC. So whoever said the situation is hopeless in Hawaii is just about right. Only national emergency and martial law will correct things out here.
On the other hand Hirono supposedly has cancer and hopefully will kick the bucket , sooner rather than later.
