The Deep State Swamp is growing like the world’s biggest sink hole swallowing up huge tracts of land

All but completely ignored in the aftermath of Christine Blasey Ford’s ALMOST victory in the character assassination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh—the trap door she used to go after him has been left wide open awaiting its next victim.

With Kavanaugh now safely sworn in to the Supreme Court as a Justice and the Democrats lining up to impeach him, the public at large is still caught up in he-said-she said full throttle while too few seem to notice that a gaping wound has been left on America with no one coming forward to try to cauterize it.

Have you noticed the left wing pundits, eg there was one debated Monica Crowley last night on Laura’s Show, ALWAYS start the conversation something like this:

“The relationship Bill Clinton had with the intern was consensual and unlike the claims, FROM THREE WOMEN, that Judge Kavanaugh sexually abused them. To date the claims from these women have NOT BEEN HEARD. THAT’S THE REAL TRAVESTY HERE, AND WHAT WE SHOULD BE DISCUSSING HERE TODAY.”

I AGREE THIS WHOLE THING NEEDS TO BE NIPPED IN THE BUD. I SURE HOPE THAT MARK JUDGE, FOR ONE, COMES OUT AND SUES THE HECK OUT OF THESE PEOPLE, INCLUDING DIANE FEINSTEIN ET AL.

The best way to close the trapdoor, is to hold people accountable for their fraud. It is just so hard to prove in court though.

I’m not certain that the person to hold accountable is Dr. Ford. Understand, I think she put on an act and lied, and lied, and lied. But the Senate Democrat Caucus, particularly the portion of it in the Judiciary Committee, is where the low-hanging fruit is. They knew, at least some of them, that they were practicing on the credulity of the chairman when they implemented the stall on the theory that Ford was in California and couldn’t fly to Washington. The chairman couldn’t even communicate with Dr. Ford without going through Feinstein, and she was not forthcoming with the chairman. That is a scandal in its own right, and it’s provable. Assuming a strong Senate Republican majority comes out of this election, Feinstein should be expelled from the Senate. That whole bunch should be referred to the Ethics Committee.
But the real scandal of them all is the “recovered” memory. That fad - memories “recovered” during psychotherapy - was big in the 1990s, and it was and is a fraud. The process they come out of is pretty much guaranteed to “find” awful memories "from the past.” Note the scare quotes. The patient’s memory is actually compromised, in the sense that the memories “of the past” are indistinguishable by the patient from normal memories even if the memories are of events which, provably, did not happen.
What you get from such a “witness” is testimony which the subject believes - but which is actually rank hearsay, and not at all probative. During the nineties, thousands of good men were ruined by such testimony coming from their own daughters. A few such guys were fantastically lucky, and were able to prove alibis which precluded the possibility that the “memories” were of real events. The courts finally tumbled to the fact that the only men who were getting ruined this way were prosperous guys who could afford psychotherapy for their unhappy daughters. At this point “recovered memory” is not supposed to be admitted in court.
Thus, the scandal above all else is that no credence at all legally attaches to the Ford testimony. It should never have been brought forward, and never heard by the committee. In bringing it forward, the Democrats perpetrated a fraud. Just think what would have happened if Ford’s best friend had gone along with the swindle . . .
