That is definitely too much sausage.
The whole thing looks unappetizing.. Cooking your own healthy and delicious food is well worth the time and trouble!

For a crowd, I spray around half a dozen ramekins with cooking spray and stick them in a deep skillet that has about 3/4” of water.

I put the lid on the pan and “poach” the eggs until they are almost done and throw some bacon and cheese on and cover it back up a minute or two until the cheese melts.

English muffins are buttered and broiled while the eggs cook.

They McDonald's also add the maple syrup crystals to their oatmeal

I'm lucky, I use maple syrup from my own Michigan maple tree. After preparation, I freeze it (it won't actually freeze) for year round cooking. And they say it's better for you then white sugar.

It's one of the cheaper items on the menu-very inexpensive for what you get IMO. Time for a road trip!😃

It’s overkill. WAY TOO MUCH.

I’ll stick with the egg Mcmuffin or the breakfast burrito or the sausage and egg biscuit.

"Fewer Americans are eating at the fast food chain. A new breakfast could help bring them back"

Solution: an upsized Egg McMuffin -- two slices of American cheese, two sausage patties, bacon and an egg.

Now THAT'S INNOVATION! That'll have them knocking the doors down. (\s)

Turn south when you get to RI. Stay on 95 south for about 900 miles and go to your nearest Chic-Fil-A. Worth the 17 hour trip!

“McGriddle is my favorite fast food breakfast item ever!”

Too sweet for my taste. Not something I want for breakfast. My favorite fast food breakfast item is BK croissanwiches with ham. My digestive system doesn’t agree with me, however, so they’re an infrequent treat.

One opened in Dedham,MA about a year ago-——son loves them——he took me——delicious-—and VERY efficient, which impressed me as much as the food.

Just say "Sin Queso"

That means "without cheese"

You are saying some much that the message is getting lost.

Or they are ignoring you. In which case it will do no good at all. But what have you got to lose by trying it?

Freeze maple syrup?

That’s a new one.....but seems like a good idea.

Thanks for the idea. I like that. My egg poaching experiences, while not disastrous, have not been entirely successful. ;)

I am a kitchen gadget junkie. I like to cook. A southern boy now in the West means I’ve had some gooood learnin’.

Can spend an hour in Bed Bath & Beyond, and I’ll try various things and report back to my office colleagues.

(BTW, “Eggies” are a no-go, since we’re talking eggs here)

***
Tomorrow the cooking experiment is a slow-cooked pot roast. First attempt. Leftovers will be apportioned to beef breakfast burritos (still talking about eggs).

If that works, I’ll try a venison roast....

I’m content with a Sausage Egg McMuffin. Don’t need it stacked double thick. It will be interesting to see the prices.

Try that on some sandwich rolls.

Nummy!

I guess McD’s must be popular......they got about 14,000 restaurants just in the US......not counting globally.

Fast food has priced itself out of the market. I can go to the local barbecue joint that serves breakfast, get their country breakfast special which includes two eggs any style, two fried or grilled pork tenderloins, choice of hash browns in several styles or grits with butter, plus biscuits and sausage gravy with beverage included for $7.95. And I get table service from a waitress, no surly attitude from some cashier and no loud indoor playground with shrieking kids running around. Now, in light of that, why would I want to go to McDonald’s for breakfast?
