You know, from what I can tell, Trump is an absolute prodigy. Those tariffs and the threat of a trade war with China are more deadly to them than anything we could do with our military. Instead of plotting a long game, and planning how in fifty years they will bury us, Trump has upended those would-be Mandarins and got the them scrambeling around trying to figure what he’s going to do next. They don’t have a clue about that, or how they should respond, or how they’re going to keep their economy afloat on the meantime.
Yeah, we complain about Lefties in our country, but the leadership of China doesn’t realize the power of allowing allowing free enterprises to flourish and grow on their own — and referee the economy so it’s fair.
Now in Hong Kong, it’s a different matter. One of the most prosperous cities in the world.
