It’s not Shadenfreud. It’s telegraphing that the Democrats have this in the bag and there is no need to spend more money. It’s a classic Obama move as in 2012. When he debated Romney he basically phoned it in. Pelosi is doing the same thing.
Correct. It is FREUDENSCHADE, i.e. prematurely celebrating a victory. And for that hubris, considered a grave sin in ancient Greece, the gods will punish.
