Why not take 1,000 ft north of the border and give it to Canada tomorrow? Then the migrants would be entering Canada not the USA. Quickly build a fenced camp. The migrants would think they are on US soil. Let them get settled and then inform them different.

If your (ridiculous) idea were attempted, Donald Trump would immediately be impeached by a large, bi-partisan majority in both chambers of congress, and the invasion forces would immediately be withdrawn. There is no need to invade Mexico. Just deport the invaders. Simple as that!
won’t work but we can declare land on our side of the Mexican border as “military no-go zones” and use troops to keep them clear of invaders.
Military law is quite different from civil law and if it is done smartly, we can tell the courts to go fuck themselves because they would have no jurisdiction on military lands, esp. if a “state of emergency” is declared, as has been done to stop looting during riots, storms, earthquakes, etc.
