It makes total sense. The USA stopped all immigration from 1924 to 1965.

I think we should let South African Boers emigrate to America, and let them settle some of those wild federal lands (Alaska, Montana). They made South Africa bloom for 400 years.

He was 6 and was born in 1920.

Plus from what I read of the law, hispanics were allowed to pour in from central and south America.

My pop wasn’t around in 1924 but I read it was also to keep Italians OUT.
