I shopped at the original Whole Foods in austin back in the '80s.
I went into a local one here a few years ago; didn't buy anything then, either.

Back in the day there was a lovely store called Whole Food Co. in uptown New Orleans, and a second location on Esplanade. There was a time I shopped the one on Esplanade on a regular weekly basis. I've been a natural foods nut since the late 60’s. I was sorely disappointed when WFC sold to Whole Foods. The store in uptown had changed hands several years before but the WF closed the one on Esplanade and opened a giant store on Magazine. The parking was horrible but I managed to shop there from time to time. But it just wasn't the same. Fortunately for those of us that like foods that are more healthy regular grocery stores have been adding to that section for a few years now. I no longer shop at WF, especially since it is now owned by Amazon.
