The parties are “trading bases” and the Rats are becoming the party of anti white racism and antisemitism. How long do they intend to hold those “white suburban college educated” voters?

The ads the dims ran promoted health care for all. College educated white women especially go for this as this is how they've been educated in our school systems.

I am afraid you are quite correct. Last night was very bad. The Senate victories were by small margins for the most part in states where they should have been layups. Some of it was a suburban reaction to Trump’s perceived crudeness but more is a spread of progressive thought to co servative areas. See Georgia and Texas.

Based on demographics, we’re not that far away from a few area codes controlling the electoral college.

His economy is making it possible for Democrats living in the shithole sanctuary metro areas to move out to the burbs Id say. I mean even dems dont want to dwell in the filth that is Boston, SF, LA, Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, Philly (now that they can afford it)...I mean do I need to go on?

There is a SPIRITUAL crisis in AMERICA. This a battle for the soul of AMERICA. The lukewarm, double-minded CHURCH has succumbed to the spirits of fear and blasphemy. The REMNENT must arise and take their place in CHURCH LEADERSHIP and PUBLIC DISCOURSE.

This tilt left is common when things are going a little too good. We’ve seen it over and over. People that are fat, dumb and happy are not afraid to vote for the socialist.

Good point. This is true in my suburban area of Northeast (Jacksonville) Florida.

>>> There’s no sugarcoating the Democrats’ capture of the House. It wasn’t a monster Blue Wave, but it was bad enough. <<<

True that Dem control the House for the next 2 years.

But.

There is NO CHANCE Democrats can maintain their centrist stance in a Pelosi led House to satisfy their ever more fringed and lunatic base.

So, all in all, another two years of (probably) total inaction from Congress, they are too busy in-fighting. And the nation gets to witness an un-ending Spartacus-Kavanaugh insanity X100 times.

Then in 2020, America returns to a real Red Wave.

24 years ago we moved to Long Island and arpt the 10 AM Sunday Mass my wife and I were in the lower half age wise of the congregants. Today 24 years later I am still in the lower half. As for the nation, Trump has delayed but will not cancel the inevitable.

(My analysis, part 2) Look at the Senate side, Republicans picked up 3 seats -

McSally (leading, currently) and Blackburn are an instant upgrade for Flake and Cocker.

And those successful Republican pick-ups (Scott, Braun, Hawley, and Cramer) are due to Trump campaigning for them, so they should be thankful and a more loyalist to Trump/Trumpism (but ultimately the Deplorables).

Won’t deny that I was disappointed and hope the NJ rejects Bob Menendez, even though Hugin is an unknown but typical northeast liberal Republican and he ran hard to be the Check on Trump.

As of now, it is Dem (+ Sanders) 46 vs. Repub 52. Too close for comfort. We still need to counter for the three Collins, Murkowski, and Romney turncoats. [Hint: I wouldn’t be surprised one bit, if Murkowski announces she’s switching to Democrat party.]
