Bingo. Lots of fresh rat candidates who purposely withheld their party affiliation in ads and signage. Most notably Robert the Fake Mexican O’Rourke. Too many white suburban Oprah women and beta males took the bait and swallowed it whole.

Midterm elections most always go to the party opposite the current president. The people who voted for the president become complacent those who oppose go out and vote to cram it down the president’s throat that they’re not going to take it lying down.

Obama and Clinton both had horrible (to them) midterm elections.
