Same here. I have a Home Depot and lowes in oposite directions of my house but almost exactly the same distance away. I’ll go to Home Depot every time if I can. Had several poor experinces at the lowes near me.
After a terrible customer service experience at Lowes, 20 years ago, I told the manager I would never set foot in a Lowes again, even if it meant driving 20 miles to a competitor.
I have gone into one with my brother. He shops there, and I wanted to observe. Just watching him have to deal with the incompetent help and cashiers was enough to get my blood pressure up.
I think one of Lowes’ problems is they don’t train their people on customer service, or do a poor job of it.
