Returns are a total disaster at Lowe’s and are often so fouled up they take 30 minutes.

The Lowe’s online experience is just awful

False. And Lowes has a pick-up desk just inside the entrance.

Our Lowe’s is much better than than our Home Depot. The customer service sucks at HD. Lowe’s return policy is the best too. Prices also better. If I can’t find it at Lowe’s then I’ll try HD.
It could be a case of local management here.

My return experience at Lowes drove me away.

I brought a sheet of plywood back and the lady told me to “stand over there” and she’d get to me. I then watched her close out her register, take off her apron and walk away.
