Puzzled Ocasio-Cortez On Paying For Free College & Medicare For Everyone: “You Just Pay For It”

Incoming New York congresswoman and self-proclaimed Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said she was puzzled by a question about how to pay for things like free college tuition and free Medicare for all and mocked those people who see the obvious economic problems with such nonsense. However, in Ocasio-Cortez’s mind, she thinks, well “you just pay for it.”
OK, let’s just get this out on the table now. If one “just pays for it,” it’s not really free, is it? Someone is paying for “it,” whether it’s welfare or some government entitlement that makes you dependent upon government for your money or healthcare.
During an interview with Jorge Ramos on Monday, Ocasio-Cortez said, “People often say, like, how are you going to pay for it? And I find the question so puzzling because how do you pay for something that’s more affordable? How do you pay for cheaper rent? How do you pay for — you just pay for it.”

Regarding her statement yesterday;
"I have three months without a salary before I’m a member of Congress. So, how do I get an apartment? Those little things are very real." That is quite a statement for Boston University when a person who holds their degree in economics doesn't have the presence of mind to execute a short term loan secured by a GUARANTEED employment contract of $348,000 for the next 24 months.
