This really bothers me. I don't like the message it sends.
I found a website (A HREF=http://us.halfstaff.org/>HALF STAFF AMERICAN FLAG NOTIFICATIONS)that shows when officially the US flag was lowered, and after I did some manipulation in Excel, I could sort them by date, and here is what I found:
