You are right. I have very specific PTSD myself, in hospital and clinic settings where some procedure must be done. I didn’t know until recently that I have the red hair gene and that I genetically need more anesthetic. So I now make sure everyone knows because I find myself VERY ANXIOUS about feeling the knives, having felt them too many times. Seppukku is not pleasant.
That’s nasty! I’ve heard of people undergoing surgery, conscious and feeling pain but too paralyzed to move or cry out. Terrible...good luck with your issue.
