Any chance these are available in VR?

Once you have “visited: using VR flat photos and videos don’t cut it.

I have “visited” some of the most famous sights in the world and have “been” to the ISS multiple times (very cramped BTW).

When Mr. RR was employed by the DNR, we lived in Sequim. One mile to sea level, one mile to ski level. I loved it there.

Nice living in a community that’s sandwiched between two national/state parks.

I’ve toured that area a couple of times; I’ve traveled on the US 101 all the way from the Astoria-Megler bridge to Port Angeles to Olympia. While I didn’t think the Pacific coastline was as nice as that in Oregon, I thought that Lake Crescent is one of the most beautiful lakes I’ve ever seen.

Having said that, I wouldn’t mind having a place in Ocean Shores, 20 miles from Hoquiam and not on the 101. Quiet and non-touristy, but with just enough amenities to sustain you, including a fantastic Irish pub; about a two hour drive from Sea-Tac airport.

I was there in 1977

Driven by a half dozen times near Seattle but it’s def a drive out of the way

The 101 meanders

I took a ferry north there from somewhere

Man your rib is patient with that brush on the upper lip

Congratulations on that

Great weather

The interior of the peninsula is usually cloudy

In 2002, events of life took me to early retirement in order to move to the Olympic Peninsula to care for my widowed mother.

In 6 short years I witnessed how fast an easy going rural part of our country can be taken over by tyrannical socialist lefties.

Jefferson County, controlled by far left liberals in Port Townsend took control of the entire county that has taken taxes to an uncomfortable point, made home ownership almost out of reach for young families, put a near halt to construction and business development and routinely limited, or denied private property rights.

Clallam County to the west is represented by socialist Trump haters and is no better off regarding a place to raise a family or enjoy a career.

The Olympic Peninsula is a beautiful place to fly over, but not so pretty if you are on the ground walking among the scowling faces.

Wow, so sad. I thought it was just Seattle.

I was born and raised in Port Angeles, then Renton, then Bremerton. My ninety year old Mom still lives there.

I left in ‘66 when I joined the USN.

It started with the SeattLunatics but is spreading like a disease all over western Washington.

Sequim only gets about 8.5” of year each year.

I love asking people how they would pronounce Sequim.

That would be Port Angeles if you were going to Canada; or, Port Townsend if you were crossing over to Coupeville on Whidbey Island.

Yes. Most pronounce it as “See Kwim”.

It is actually pronounced as “Squim”.

Must have been Townsend

I’ve a good cattle rancher bud in Bellingham I see on occasion but usually just drive up from Sea Tac

We then go over to Baker and Ranier and St Helens which on the north slope lava field is greening and foresting where it can
