After seeing the Dems literally ignore House committee subpoenas for the past 8 years, isn’t it safe to say the Dems could launch a hundred investigations and the GOP targets could just ignore them?
Benghazi? Nothing.
Uranium One? Nothing.
Clinton Shenanigans? Nothing.
When the GOP failed to assert the power of the House during the Obama years, they really minimized its power to threaten anyone. As a libertarian the weakening of government warms my heart, but why do I feel like the GOP will ruin a good thing by suddenly allowing these House investigation to have power over them?
Trump should release documents showing Obama misuse of the IRS and at some point in the press conference observe that the DNC out to get him should be glad he doesn’t have Obama’s or their ethics.
That’s my take. Resist, obstruct, ignore subpoenas, take the Fifth, use the “I don’t recall” line. We can play that game too.
