I’ve been watching the last season of Alice recently.
You summed up things very well.
I remember that show! That’s from about the same time period.
I blame the hula hoop.
It’s still better than what passes for the TV sitcom now.
My wife isn’t big on it even though she says there never are enough strong female characters. Alice and the rest had strengths of their own.
Vera finally matured beyond dinghy.
Apparently the suicide rates are highest in men who work in heavy male-dominated jobs. Highest for women is in fields the most prone to be over feminazied.
It would seem that feminism has driven men and women further apart causing more lonely not married people. Too many women are seeking some kind of wimpy man and too many manly men are seeking women who appreciate them for being men.
I wonder how the suicide rate compares with the Christianity rate. One would suspect more suicides in less Christian countries.
