10-22 with an assortment of ammo is ideal, in my opinion. From Velocitors, to souped up lightweight bullets like Stingers or Quik-Shoks, to frangible rounds as silent as an air rifle, but much more powerful, and detachable magazines that make changing fast and easy.
Sorry, no such 10/22 exists. Theyre not as quiet, even using subsonics from a suppressor; theyre not that much more powerful, either.
And in my opinion, they also lack an equivalent accuracy potential. Where airguns do fall severely short is firepower. But for hunting, whats that worth?
