Do people of color ever tell jokes about people not of color or use racist/derogatory terms like honkie, whitie, gringo (hatefully), etc? Do they sit around the table and caution each other not to do that?
I’ve been the only white person at a family holiday table and no, once they got over me, they did not contain themselves so as not to utter one potentially offensive slur against whites. Verbal gymnastics not to offend is a white thing.
