I was too busy eating Bulgogi, barbeque chicken and bags of fried shrimps in the ‘ville and pizza and fried chicken in the NCO club. I was that rare private back then on separate rations.
It's actually very good.
I made friends with some KATUSA's in '66 and was invited out to dinner at a no GI's restaurant and they ordered for me (I spoke maybe two or three words in Korean) .... had a great time and the meal was excellent .... which I was informed about the contents afterwards .... oh well ... it WAS tasty meat.
