This just doesn’t make sense from any angle.
(1) Let’s say he really did help with the oil boom. That would offend the leftscum, who are against oil.
(2) We know he didn’t, so it doesn’t help with Trump supporters.
(3) Anyone in the middle to some extent falls in either of the above categories — or both. No help there.
It’s just got to be “SEE ME!” ego at play. Pathetic.
Keep in mind that Trump inherited Jerome Powell (R) as an Obama appointee to the Fed. Powell was a managing partner of the Global Environment Fund. Might explain some recent Reserve policy issues if he is still influenced by the “Obama” camp.
