I noticed that, too. Zero defensive driving. Most made no effort to avoid the collision.
My one major car crash was like that. I saw it coming but took no defensive maneuvers. I just braced myself for impact. It was more to protect others on the road. I was on an interstate - middle lane - in rainy weather and a car in the left lane ahead of me hydroplaned, bounced off the guardrail and veered right in front of me. Had I swerved, I would have likely sideswiped somebody else in the lanes adjacent to me and made it a 3+ car accident instead of the 2-car accident it was.
Anyway, interesting article on Russian dashcams from an older WIRED article. Apparently YouTube has agreement with Russian government to pull "disturbing" dash cam content which is why we only get the fender benders minus the blood and guts.
