Spend time with most Canadians and you’ll eventually detect a smug sense of superiority. Same goes for the British, Aussies and Kiwis. We are the most successful nation of the Anglosphere. We are the sibling that went independent of mommy and daddy early on and did very well.

Burton Cummings had one of the great rock voices.Personally, I don't think anyone sings rock better than Burton Cummings. What an amazing voice.
When the Guess Who were guests of President George W. Bush, they decided to be good guests and not play American Woman. They only did when Dubya asked them to. I gained some measure of personal respect for them by that action - seems they outgrew some of their childishness.
