The illegal alien inundation was intentional.

Yes. Simpson badgered President Reagan incessantly for years to get him to amnesty a bunch of illegals. He made promises out the wazoo and how it would be followed by border security and they would stanch the flow once and for all, and of course it was all BS.
Still don’t know who Simpson was shilling for.
