So, for decades, many women have not been hired just because they are a WOMAN...………….period!

Bullshit! Intelligence and conscientiousness are the two biggest predictors of success in the workplace. Not sex.

I hired plenty of people over the years.

There are not any hiring managers anywhere that are hiring less qualified men over women, and\or paying men more to do the same work...period! It ain't happening.

As a matter of fact women are preferred in order to meet "diversity" requirements.

This article is correct, any negative effects on female hiring practices can be laid at the feet of the pound me too movement

…...well, sir or madam, please read this article, one of “many” and probably thousands with the same point. Katharine Tarbox is an MBA Student at Wharton and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania ergo that makes her pretty smart.

I’ve not graduated from any college but my projects over 40+ years have employed hundreds and probably thousands if I cared to go back and study the subject completely which I don’t.

Along that path I’ve hired many women but quit hiring them decades ago if I could avoid it. Largely for the same reasons Katharine Tarbox elucidates in her article.

I agree with you that some women can be very conscientious and a great value to the company. In fact, I could name several. But, their potential liability is just too great and the women’s movement has gone too far. Some, are now recognizing that fact, obviously not you.
