Predator hunting has been on the rise for the past decade. This may be due to the increase population of of coyotes and now are endangering our bambi groups. Which obviously has opened opportunity for manufactures to come up with toys to tinker with.
One possible combination to consider for predator base hunt is the use of a light, accurate and effective system.
First thing that comes to mind is the CMMg Mk4 S 22 Nosler topped with an affordable quality Leupold VX-Freedom scope.

The Mk4 S is the perfect rifle for hunting or punching paper targets. It’s the lightest of the four MK series, coming in at 6.5 pounds. Its overall length with the buttstock collapsed is 34 inches. The rifle mounts an 18-inch barrel and has a standard M4 buttstock with a six-position MILSPEC receiver extension and an A2 pistol grip.
Like the other three models, the barrel is 416 stainless steel and the receiver is forged 7075-T6 aluminum. With a scope of decent quality mounted, the Mk4 S would be a perfect choice for predator hunting.

Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9×40
For $200 dollars this Leupold scope performs quite well with the Mk4. The scope is reliable, accurate, holds zero well, and works great in low light.
You can spin the turrets up and down a bit while zeroing and shooting without any problems.
One of the best way to work with this reticle is to plug your rifle and ammo data into a ballistic computer and find out what your maximum point blank range is, then zero for that distance. Read the rest of CMMG Mk4.
