Nobody wins. In Kiev, Damascus, Cairo there were "peaceful protests" that the US and other Western nations demanded be allowed to occur. Next step, someone gets shot and a protestor is blamed, though it most likely was a scheme that brings chaos. In the chaos, a government topples (or in Assad's case, stands firm) and the puppetmasters engineer an election to put in friendlies.

Now, the shoe is on the other foot. Macron is all in for the globalist agenda, and citizens are fed up. There's a real danger that anarchists take over the revolt and Macron gets too heavy handed. What's France going to do then? Bring in the Germans to quell the population?

So many questions, so much uncertainty. Could this happen in some places in the US?
