Civil War: French citizens fed up with their government’s elitism and out-of-touch policymaking — like allowing millions of West-hating Muslims into the country — have taken to the streets in recent weeks following the imposition of a massive new fuel (carbon) tax aimed at fulfilling the country’s “climate change” obligations via the 2015 Paris Climate Accords.
Reports on Thursday even said that “Yellow Jacket” leaders may be planning armed violence aimed at overthrowing President Emmanuel Macron, whose approval rating is in the basement.
Whether the coup happens or not, it’s pretty evident, judging by the news coming out of France in recent weeks, that a growing number of citizens are unhappy with the way things are going in their country. And they’re not going to take it anymore.
Could something like what’s taking place in France happen in the United States?

The people who are running on lefty fairy-dust theories are basically cannon-fodder willing, probably, to do whatever the people who are stampeding their herd want them to do. If antifa is any indication, they are angry people looking for nothing more than an outlet for their frustration and rage.
I know a couple of lefties, one pretty well, and I haven’t quite figured out what it takes to get a person to recognize that they are motivated by groupthink in the name of science and critical thought. How do you get a person to understand that what they believe their motives are is not actually the thing that they are operating on.

This is from the SDS/Weatherman) speaking about the Days of Rage, but equally belligerent and hateful comments have been and continue to be made by many, including many 'mainstream' entertainers. The difference between the early days of the SDS and now? Previously people like this were marginalized as radicals. Today, former leaders of the SDS/Weatherman teach our children at our universities - and are no longer thought of as fringe. In fact, one of our FR favorites (sarc), Ayers, was a part of Obama's early political efforts, and may have written one of Obama's books.

Since the media is so fixated on those “Yellow Jackets” they’re neglecting to tell us why people are wearing those yellow jackets. But the reason is according to Rush Limbaugh. It’s a law drivers are to wear them if they are required to have them on If: When they are forced to get out of their vehicle on a freeway they must have one on.
So out of this requirement they’re suggesting a coup d’ e-tat and an organized revolution !
If you look at the last 100 years, seem like the smart move on their part would be to not rile anyone up. Just keep things slowly moving down the cultural slope, with folks being fat, entertained, and apathetic.

Our least prosperous people are the most likely to be obese and are the most entertained poor people ever. They are also unused to hard physical labor outdoors in all weather. It’s hard to imagine any sort of sustained civil unrest under these conditions because they have never existed before in recorded history.

I think this is true to a degree. Many of those you point out are simply arrant physical cowards. What would happen in heavily working class area of cities such as Chicago or even Boston would be interesting. Chicago PD is both PC and heavily black, These two groups might try to enforce some sort of search and seize act. The results would, I believe, be violent as white ethnic types despise the people who would try and seize their weapons and would prove to be more numerous than the police. Where it would go from there who knows? In the huge block of red counties which are heavily rural such a law would be a non starter and if an attempt by the Blues to enforce it would produce a rebellion in those areas. Again a very nasty scenario. Young men in rural areas of the South and Midwest and even the West are not the Millennial/Xer gutless weasels of the urban areas and the socalled educated classes. This sh*t have to get others to do their dirty work and there again is the potential for a multi-focal resistance with no traditional leadership or structure. Just a lot of younger men who work with their hands and who frequently are veterans of the interminable wars created by the same class that wants average Americans disarmed. This has the potential for something really protracted and pervasive.
