Civil War: French citizens fed up with their government’s elitism and out-of-touch policymaking — like allowing millions of West-hating Muslims into the country — have taken to the streets in recent weeks following the imposition of a massive new fuel (carbon) tax aimed at fulfilling the country’s “climate change” obligations via the 2015 Paris Climate Accords.
Reports on Thursday even said that “Yellow Jacket” leaders may be planning armed violence aimed at overthrowing President Emmanuel Macron, whose approval rating is in the basement.
Whether the coup happens or not, it’s pretty evident, judging by the news coming out of France in recent weeks, that a growing number of citizens are unhappy with the way things are going in their country. And they’re not going to take it anymore.
Could something like what’s taking place in France happen in the United States?

Yes, but you will notice that the ones in power who started all this crap are still in power. If we can hang on to our trump cards (spelled g-u-n-s) we may have a chance in this country. I'm also betting on the members of the armed forces not being willing to turn on their own people since most of them are either southerners and/or from conservative roots. And, the fed can't really do anything without the cooperation of local authorities. At least where I live, "fed" is a dirty word to local law enforcement. But, as I pointed out to my wife, you are seeing quite a serious revolution in France, but it hasn't grown to the level necessary to clean house of those who don't belong in power. Keep that in mind when you start to think about what it would take to clean house in this country.
For the most part gun owners are law-abiding people. That’s what they are depending on. Oh, and an adoration of police on the right.

Most major cities, NY, LA, DC even ChiTown are near a sea ports if not right on the waters edge. No way to blockade them. Sorry to tell you that. Look at a map.

I would say that we are not represented today and have not been for a long time. We keep electing “representatives” in the hope that they will support our agenda and that of the president we elect but that has not been happening much.
The core of the revolution came from the prosperous and urbanized of the time and spread eventually to the smaller population areas. It was touch and go all the way although today, especially in “flyover country” the sentiment to reestablish the Republic is strong. France is a prosperous and urbanized country as well and citizens there finally began to stand up to the socialists; although I suspect that the fascist globalists are now using a real revolt to replace their boy puppet with a dictatorship.
If half of them show up it is enough. Actually if ten percent decide to fight it would be enough. Remember one rebel can keep ten regular fighters tied up.
And there are those on the other side who will not show up.
A total gun confiscation is a nice leftist dream but unless they get a lot more numbers on their side it is not happening.

They can not shut down the street gangs who are far worse shots, fewer numbers and concentrated in a few areas. They are going to take on 1000 times that number spread out over the entire country? With who's army? China's? That might work. If they could get people to agree to letting China take over they might be able to do it.

That’s right about one can hold up ten. Or more. A sniper can hold off a whole bunch.
One other thing to consider is 99% of combat vets are on our side and there’s a whole lot of able bodied combat vets. I’m almost 68 but I’m still a good shot and there are a lot of us.
