I hadn't really been following this story because I knew it was BS from the beginning anyway. Today I did read an article refuting the allegations that she'd been in Border Patrol custody for a week before she died. But of course it had been only 8 hours. Her father had been interviewed and denied his daughter being sick. Here's the quote from The Daily Caller article I read:

"DHS claims in their statement, however, that they interviewed the Caal family and offered them food and water. The father denied that Jackeline was ill and signed a form indicating that there were no visible signs of trauma and that the child appeared to be in good health, according to a copy reviewed by the Associated Press.
