Pro-gun groups sued New Jersey to try to prevent the law from going into effect. Their attempt on blocking the law failed in a federal appeals court.

OTOH, if NJ had passed a law allowing 10+ rounds of ammo, and a liberal group sued to stop it, a stay would have been implemented to stop the law from taking effect until it could be decided by SCOTUS (many years later).

Interesting how the libs can do this but we can't...

I think they deliberately avoided using the word "infringe", but that's just me...
