Well, it was a different judge and Manafort had a lot bigger legal problem. But the judge is not going to make Mueller try the case unless Flynn wants out of the plea deal. Flynn has already had plenty of opportunity to get out of the deal and has elected to go forward. The judge is not going to stop him from making the deal if he thinks it’s in his best interest.
