It maybe even more serious with the UK, and its nuclear powered submarines and nulcear armed ICMB’s.
I posted my concerns about this earlier today:

UK is lost. Just let it slide down the toilet of history into oblivion.
You are probably correct. There are two serious problems with this slide:
1. The UK is part of the 5 Eyes intel agreement set up by President Truman, decades ago. They spy on us and vice versa. Their intel division, GCHQ, came up with the BS story about Trump urinating on the whores with no evidence.
Once President Trump exposed them, the director of GCHQ resigned to spend more time with his family.
2. The UK has The Astute class nuclear powered submarine, which has stowage for 38 weapons and would typically carry a mix of Spearfish heavy torpedoes and Tomahawk Block IV cruise missiles, the latter costing £870,000 each.[21]
The Tomahawk missiles are capable of hitting a target to within a few meters, to a range of 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometres).
How many of those subs have Islamic crew members on board?

Agreed that there is some potential for terrorist misuse of these military assets, the real world solution is to keep close watch on procedures in place in France and Britain to safeguard against such eventualities. It would take presumably a well-placed sympathizer to mount such a terrorist operation, one would think that France and Britain are aware of this potential and continuously monitor for sympathizers reaching such positions. Chances of pre-emptive detection are moderate at best. We are of course nowhere near any situation of “Muslim takeover” of these countries, there is a growing Muslim influence but neither of them is anywhere near having Muslims in very many positions of authority (and some rank and file military member, no matter how radicalized, could easily penetrate the security required to launch nukes).
My guess is that political correctness aside, the French and British military establishments are fairly retro in their attitudes to such matters and that would be a point in favor of security. Down the road, who knows? Probably some sort of continual joint inspection and monitoring to set every mind at ease. Would be more concerned about terrorists getting access to poorly guarded nukes in former USSR or developing them on site in remote locations using sympathetic or coerced assets. I’ve sometimes wondered who was on that MH370 missing flight and what they might be doing these days (supposedly some people with high computer skills on that supposedly missing flight).
So this brings up a question. If the muzzies take over a nuke capable sub and hit us with it do we nuke the entire UK in return just to be safe?
