Many experts are coming to see how serious Chinas ongoing assault on the U.S. is. But there is something far more momentous about Chinas theft of American intellectual property that very few onlookers recognize.
Oh, brother.....Seriously?
“Chinese Theft of American Trade Secrets Is Fulfilling Bible Prophecy”
America is not specifically mentioned in Bible prophecy. There may some small inferences.
Prophecies (e.g. Deuteronomy 28:33) directed at Israel may speak to God’s ways in dealing with the sins of nations, but they do not constitute prophecies specifically about America.
Further, the Bible does not apply “stealing” and “theft” to intellectual property. The closest thing to a prophetic fulfillment in this regard is when Paul says there will be “covenantbreakers” in the last days. See 2 Timothy 3:3. The word used there literally means “without truce”. So, it is sometimes translated as unrestrained or unforgiving. There are nuances of these meaning in the original, I think. But the idea that they will disregard an agreement is probably there also.
All humans have an innate, God-given right to learn by observing others and accessing the body of knowledge that mankind has accumulated. God is pro-freedom and pro-knowledge. On the other hand, people also have a right to be paid fairly for their work.
Intellectual property seeks to address both of these in a fair way in which all parties agree. However, this system is broken today. Big, multi-national corporations own and control all of the intellectual property. It is up to Congress to protect the rights of inventors, investors, AND citizens who must be fairly compensated for what they are forced to give up in the name of “intellectual property.”
Do not abuse FR by using it to post a sentence or two as click bait to watch a video rather than an actual article (versus perhaps substantiation for a claim within a forum response to a article). Make your basic argument in print, and then link to a video for the fuller version if that is what it provides. Thus those who are interested can quickly appraise it and can comment on it with copied quotes from it. I do not think these “video articles” get many viewers.
