Ah, you must lived in the SF area then. Norman was born in TX, but I don’t know how long his family were there.

Yeah, his concerts were usually great good fun to go to, he was just as often hilarious as he was serious.

I had a record of “I love you” by People back in the day (on Capital Records). Here he plays it in later years with a few other “People”, backed by his younger bro’s (Charlie Norman) band.

He was indeed connected to a lot of celebs/musicians to some degree or another in different ways. On his website, his brother posted this picture he happened on while sifting through all of the stuff Larry left when he passed away. Kind of an odd couple here! -

Santa Clara County. LN lived in San Francisco and San Jose at different times, before moving north later. His parents, teachers, lived and retired in San Jose.
