A little off topic, but the old Packard plant in Detroit was featured om “Mysteries Of The Abandoned” a while ago. It was so interesting! I suppose it’s too delapidated to be converted to a functioning plant again, but the plant was built with some futuristic ideas for that era.

I saw that, that is a very cool place. Just north east of this new Lear plant, which is small by most automotive plant standards, anyway, just near it is the site of the old Cheverolet final assembly plant where in the 60’s Impalas were made, I believe that is where Chevy made the Corvettes, only the first year.

I was born in Flint in 55, the city was a thriving place until about the time i graduated high school in 73, i went active duty in 75, never looked back. Flint has been in a state of decay ever since.
