Took me back - I read 40+ Hardy Boys books when i was young....later discovered that Franklin W. Dixon was a ghost author and a number of folks wrote the books using that moniker...they all followed the same pattern and most were 214 pages long....
Did you read the classics or the ones written in the late 80s/early 90s, which were written for older readers?

Didn’t even know they existed.....after the Hardy Boys I discovered Doc Savage (after a short bout with Tom Swift) and never looked back except in nostalgia for the days of youth when everything was interesting....
