Thanks for saying that. I hope we will always have our deep mother daughter connection that seems to transcend the genetic differences. I really love input from other people who were adopted, to help me understand.

One advantage she has psychologically is that no one ever gave her up. Her sperm donor never met her egg donor. They both have huge happy (as far as I know) families. I hope that helps.

It’s been wonderful and I hope to not underestimate genetics, but to gain real perspective on it. Thanks so much.

Despite not sharing any genetics, a great deal of bonding takes place in utero. So she was already bonded with you at birth. That is a definite plus.
I don’t know how my dad got the idea, but at a young age I was told my bios were in a particular profession. He provided me with many opportunities to pursue this. I was an abject failure. I have no talents in this line in any way. My dad always maintained this was indeed true.
I’ve always been fascinated with the medical profession, so I became a nurse. Despite doing very well at this, I always felt like a failure. Even though I wanted nothing more than to find my bios, I was hesitant to look for them, I was afraid they would be disappointed in me.
When I found my them, I discovered 2 sisters are nurses, another sister is an audiologist, 2 nieces are nurses 2 cousins are nurses, my grandmother was a pharmacist, her 2 sisters were nurses and her brother was a doctor!

Don’t do any of them until they offer 100 percent anonymous execution. It’s all bs. Limited data for you but max data for them.

Smiling! That is wild. And I completely believe it. I’ve seen so many amazing things in our little genetic experiment too.
