I’ve read their revolvers are good but their semi autos or hit or miss.

I have a .22 mag for a gopher gun...shoots straight.
Theyre a decent firearm. Keep your warranty information just in case there is an issue. From my understanding quality control is in spurts with them, good years and bad usually depends on who owned the company at the time. Try full metal jacket and hollow points and try and get a hundred rounds through it. Firing double action quickly and single action. I have a Taurus TCP .380 which has been flawless. Good shooting!
The wife has a Taurus Slim 9mm auto - seems to be a good weapon - never jammed or misfired to date.
