A sailor who doesn’t patronize hookers? Is he supposed to cultivate some kind of long-term relationship with the local women during his days of shore leave? Is this some kind of joke?
Today’s sailors are supposed to go on cultural tours, or participate in volleyball tournaments sponsored by the Navy. They should also carefully avoid alcohol unless an appropriate amount of food is also served.
If you can’t party, you can’t fight. A Navy or Marine Corps appropriate for women, and approved of by America’s mommies can’t fight worth a damn. It’s a natural fact.
