Conservatives: Stop Giving Interviews To MSM Like The ‘Let-Us-Smear You’ New York Times

The deliberate smearing of King as a “nationalist” and “white supremacist” lays bare the blueprint now in use for trying to kill the reelection chances of all conservative incumbents

A two-word response guaranteed to keep you safe from being “mischaracterized” and smeared as a “nationalist“ and “white supremacist” by the dirt-digging, devious New York Times: “NO COMMENT!

“No Comment” are the two most feared and hated words in the media industry because hanging up the phone after saying them makes it impossible for them to get the story they’re after.

Yep. No matter if you think King was guilty or not guilty in what he said, one thing is clear.....

He was a fool for sitting nearly an hour for that Slimes interview.

Exactly!

I’ve long agreed with that sentiment.

On a further note, I find it appalling that GOP candidates and incumbents (every two years) appear before newspapers editorial boards as those boards decide who to endorse for election.

I’m speaking for my local newspaper (the Minneapolis StarTribune - aka The Red Star) specifically. They overwhelmingly endorse Democrats for every position from dogcatcher up to President. Occasionally, they’ll throw in an endorsement of a GOP incumbent in a safe district.

In recent years, several legislators and candidates have refused to appear before their editorial board claiming an strong institutional and political bias against Republicans.

Besides No Comment, it’s high time we took this a step further!

I will not say Steve King was a fool because I don’t know the circumstances and his motivation. But he was naive. What was the slimes commie NYT propagandists name?

“He was a fool for sitting nearly an hour for that Slimes interview.”

Agreed. Think back to Missouri’s Senate race in 2012 when GOP candidate Todd Akin did the very same thing. There is, of course, the same debate as to whether he was misquoted or not. But he put himself in that position and we lost a good chance to take that Senate seat back then.

A local newspaper is one thing. If King had done an interview with a Des Moines newspaper I don't think it would be a big deal.

But the NYT is not only a leftist propaganda rag ... it's a New York City and a Beltway newspaper whose staff considers Iowa more foreign than the moon.

I'm going to chalk this up to "Dumb as a Sack of Hammers" on this one.

Politicians will never be able to resist talking to the press.

It’s like a drug to them.

“So when did you stop beating your GF?”
Classic attack question that all began on 60 Min 50 years ago.

The UniParty made him a marked man. NYT a bad idea? Yes. But just a pretext. Trump shall have no allies.

They are targeting him because he is not “hip” to modern terminology and doesn’t understand the loss of Freedom of Speech during the Obama Era. His staff is failing him.

It does not matter if conservatives give interviews or not.

The left will simply make stuff up and attribute it to conservatives via an un-named / central white house source.

Then interview some self proclaimed conservative who will confirm the un-named source.
