It's been an interesting weekend. We learned a lot. I have long asserted that the FBI was out to take Trump down right from day one. It appears more and more that that is exactly what has and is happening.
Carter Page was a known FBI asset. He helped them in the past. As a reward, FBI used him as a ruse to spy on Trump, fraudulently obtaining a FISA warrant to allow the FBI to collect collateral information.
As in spy on Trump.
Comey wanted to take down Trump. Nearly a year ago I wrote this:

Certain things set off alarms in your head. Comey set off a lot of alarms. He blew off DOJ protocol when he sent two agents to interview Michael Flynn.

Stephanopoulos responded by asking, “But did he have a right to know that?”
“That it had been financed by his political opponents? I don't know the answer to that,” Comey responded. “It wasn't necessary for my goal, which was to alert him that we had this information.”

Comey effectively killed the Clinton email investigation. Clinton's exoneration was written long before her interview. Comey's obviously biased operation and his insubordination led to his dismissal from the FBI. Writing the memo justifying Comey's termination was none other than Rod Rosenstein.
At the time of Comey's firing no evidence of Russian collusion had been found. Peter Strzok:
“You and I both know the odds are nothing. If I thought it was likely I’d be there no question. I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern there’s no big there there,” Peter Strzok, who then served as deputy chief of FBI counterintelligence, wrote to FBI lawyer Lisa Page on May 18, 2017.But when Comey was fired, everything changed. The FBI took on a new role.
Depose the President of the United States. I mean, how dare he exercise his Constitutional authority?
Immediately after Comey was fired the FBI went rogue and began rumor mongering

The coup continues.
Sessions' DOJ continued the coup. And Barr seems to want to continue it too.
Indict, try, convict, sentence, and publicly hang them.
Consider this perspective - opponents in general have 3 different ways to label someone based on their perceived IQ and abilities:
1. Stupid - dumb
2. Average - puppet
3. Smart - evil
As we know, Bush was considered dumb, but Cheney is/was viewed as evil. Patriots label proglibs in similar manner. No one really thinks Hilldog is dumb; rather, she is widely considered an evil witch. Likewise, Occasional-Cortex is labeled as dumb. Middle of the road are dismissed as toadies, controlled by their handlers.
OK, back to Trump: how come Trump isn't feared - like (Darth) Cheney - as some dark evil genius? Rather, why did the left choose the bumbling, out-of-control moniker? Under any objective analysis, these labels have an element of truth.
So, to wrap it up, every attempt to take down Trump has been predicated on the basis that our enemies think he's a dunce. If they were afraid, they would have taken a different tack. So, they've taken his measure, and have developed tactics that fit with their assessment.
If they are right - and at this point there's no reason to doubt their sincere feeling that Trump can be rolled - then it explains a lot of why nothing has been avenged. In comparison, can anyone imagine even for a moment the kind of retribution Hilldog would have unleashed if anyone tried this kind of stunt? Yeah, right - LOL.
I challenge anyone to present a plausible scenario where Hilldog would have responded in similar manner to this type of campaign. Absolute apples & oranges - as we know, there would be dead bodies all over the place.
At least she would have waged a suitable defense against an attempted coup like a real leader - we should at least give her that credit. Instead, we're left with someone who gets off on Twitter insults and complaints.
For those with some clue, it's time to move on - at least mentally - to consider the next steps. First, we can assume the left takes back control - with a vengeance. Perhaps at some future point in time a real leader will emerge to rally the remaining patriots, but it won't be until their backs are really against the wall.
