#15. Continued air strikes do several important things:
1. Kill Iranians, Syrians and possibly Russians.
2. Take out Syrian air defense missiles, sites, soldiers
3. Give the Israelis opportunities to test countermeasures against Russian-made AA systems, etc.
4. Increase the financial cost of Russian aid to Syria and Syria paying for it
5. Destroy Iranian supply depots for arms to the Quds forces, Syrians, Hezbollah
6. Keep the Syrian undertakers in business
