In much of the USA a 15yo girl can be prosecuted as an adult woman for prostitution.

I believe California is the only state that has outlawed prosecuting victims of child sex trafficking as adult prostitutes...and I recall an awful lot of FReepers were outraged over that idea.

True, but an older woman once told me in college that girls are only women for a few years in their twenties, then they're girls again.

The age of consent is wildly different in Europe. I know in Germany while in the military, I struck up a conversation in the bar with this BEAUTY and was mortified when the girl told me she was 13! Which by the way, is the age of consent, at least back then.

Oh I walked away.

And I was 18. Certainly not DeNiro’s age....
