My Uncle who was a 1st Marine Raider during WW2 gave me his Springfield 1903 30-06 converted to sporter, Sweet rifle.

Dad was a marine. Guadalcanal/Bougainville. I have his Marine Raiders knife. He was not a raider. I ruined its value by sharpening it many decades ago.
