I’ve always viewed child sacrifice as demonic. It seems there is a dark place in our minds that matches the dark places in some souls.

It goes against everything that makes us human. The mindset that could lead someone to murder their own children is alien to me.

The practice seems to have arisen during the Bronze Age, but wasn’t unique to the ancient Near East, as there’s also evidence of it in Meso-America around the same time. Truly one of humanity’s darkest legacies. And clear evidence of Satan’s ability to twist people’s minds. God abhorred this practice back then, and it’s sad that I should have to say this, but still does today.

For the record, I have no problem with conservation. Wanting to protect bald eagles is a perfectly noble cause. But when they’re given priority over human life, our priorities seriously are seriously out of wack.

Even the secular folks see something wrong. I’ve noticed in my “Bible belt” locale that in the past 5 years or so folks are way more timid to even make eye contact and greet others. It’s everywhere.

They are fearful.

Their faith is slipping away.

Where are the 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV folks any more??
