Never thought of myself as delusional but I guess I would be the last to realize my condition, hehehehe.
I am from the Upper Midwest and many millions of bushels of grain are stored at shipping points along the Mississippi and other waterways as well as at terminals in Duluth/Superior. Just as in the event of a nuclear exchange, food supplies to the citizenry is not going to take the form of croissants and frozen entrees. It will take the form of wheat, corn and soybeans and you better know how to deal with it (slaking the corn, soaking and milling the grain) if you want to survive.
I won't squabble about it.
If my wife, or kids are endangered, I will go postal.

Fine. But what you still don't understand is what war is, and it it's aftermath. You have an image in your head about civil war in the United States, but have no concept of what it would really mean.
Blame Paul Ryan. Blame the beyond-repair "Republican" US Senate. Blame John Roberts. And be very sad that President Trump didn't bring some down-to-earth fly-over country middle class Deplorables with him to DC.
Yet Americans of different backgrounds and views do get along every day.

If someone wants to stop them and bring on a real Civil War, then do it, and I'll comment on that. Until then, they can shut their collective traps about "war."
Two questions-
1) Who or what the f#$k do you think you are, to presume to tell others how or when they can have an opinion, or express it?
2) How many of these posters you're telling to "shut up" do you know? What do you know about their decision process? What do you know about the how and why of what they think?
If you didn't think you already know everything, you might learn something. Know-it-allism is a negative indicator.
Many of us contemplate the possibilities...how, when, why would each of us reach the breaking point and decide, "It's on!" I suspect it won't happen in the time or manner you assume. So use your own advice, and take a big cup of STFU.
Oh I think many understand Trump has just two terms.....However, like Trump I think there are those behind the scenes who could and would carry on when he leaves..and that’s going to be kept under hat.
I just don’t think there’s a will to participate in a civil war on either side of the divide. People want to live their life, raise their kids and sustain their work. The conditions are there for just that now and we hope for the future.

Keep the faith..God already knows who He will rise up to take us on whatever road he chooses once Trump has completed his tasks. But there will only ever be just one Trump....and the entire world will never forget the man.

I believe it will be unlike CW1. Armies will not line up against each other.
We need to do everything we can to keep civil war from happening. Only evil forces that want to see America fall, would win.
No sane person roots for war anywhere. Most especially a war to be fought in our own town, in our own neighborhoods. It was expressed very well by Mel Gibson as Benjamin Martin in The Patriot.
How many know...not in their brain, but in their gut...that weakness invites aggression? The Left has marched through the institutions of our society with no resistance. How many Governors could have made a difference during the '60s had they stood on their hind legs and said, "The nonsense ends here, AND NOW." It's plausible that weakness in the defense of our culture invited aggression against it.
So we find ourselves in the insane asylum trying to reason with the inmates.
If one held that belief, what's next?

You know jack squat about me. I know full well what war is, and what its aftermath can be. By the way: Notice that the correct grammar is “its,” not “it’s” like you penned. I bet you’re one of those “scholars” who writes “succession” instead of the proper “secession.”
In any event, I was making an observation about what I thought would more than likely happen here, as such actions generally are localized, at least initially. But, you jumped to assumptions, based on God-knows-what, and thus in your attempt to pontificate you showed your errors.
Think about what you write, and what you say, lest your utterances subtract from the sum total of human knowledge rather than make a contribution.
